The part time internship for undergraduates is a non-paid program addressing sophomore students who desire to accumulate working experience in an MRO during their academic years and accomplish sooner their experience requirements for obtaining PART 66 license.

Advantages of the undergraduate program part-time internship

  • Working schedule is flexible and can be tailored depending on University courses schedule;
  • Transportation from established point of meet to maintenance facility is provided by us
  • Student will receive study materials in electronic format for improving knowledge regarding work tasks and attributions
  • Student will participate in tutorials for:
    • MRO maintenance in-house procedures and standards
    • Quality standards and MOE presentation
    • Maintenance Planning and engineering
    • English in aviation
  • Student will be facilitate hands-on experience under surveillance of certifying authorized staff
  • Students will go through all technical related departments such as: Planning and Engineering, Logistics, Purchasing and storage
  • Student will be provided RCAA evaluation for required PART-147 modules for training courses mandatory for obtaining PART-66 license
  • Student can apply for logbook to RCAA and start completing required tasks for the PART-66 license
  • Student will benefit of all medical insurance and shall have same rights and obligations as any Dedalus employees
  • Bonuses or incentives can be awarded to those students that are evaluated by direct supervisor as having performed outstanding work during their internship

What to expect from the undergraduate program  part-time internship

  • The undergraduate program for Part time internship is a NON PAID PROGRAM
  • Students must study materials provided in their free time
  • Completion of tasks in logbook will take longer than for graduated or MA students
  • Student can be declined completion of logbook signatures on behalf of direct supervisor if:
    • Student did not participate at tasks performance
    • Student misconducts and does not respect company internal procedures and standards for compliance
    • Student shows lack of interest and seriousness in accomplishing tasks given for performance

REQUIRMENTS FOR ADMISSION

Undergraduates must fulfil following criteria for acceptance:

  1. Must be a sophomore student – 2nd year of University
  2. Provide with Faculty curricula of year(s) of study – subject courses list with short description of each courses
  3. Provide official transcript of first year grades in subject courses
  4. Knowledge of good English required (good reading, writing and understanding of language)
  5. Computer skills and very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel
  6. Letter of intention - draft
  7. Letter of recommendation from two relevant professors or one letter from Faculty Dean
  8. Sustain two interviews with HR responsible and Direct supervisor
  9. Resume/CV
